HELPFUL HINTS TO ENSURE COLLECTION
~ Place your bin out on the street the night before
~ Make sure your bin is facing the correct way - the opening of the bin facing the street
~ Make sure the bin is on the kerb and that there is nothing obstructing it - i.e. vehicles
~ Make sure that your recycling bin is not contaminated with general rubbish. Our Recycling truck is fitted with special cameras which allow the driver to see what is coming out of your bin. So please do the right thing!
~ No green waste (lawn clippings etc) are to be placed in any bin. This is becuase it will cause a fire in the back of the truck due to combustion and as a result is harmful to the driver and the environment.
And remember that residents are responsible for their bin, and its placement and anything obstructing our pick up service. Please dont hesitate to call us if you have any problems and we will endeavor to solve them for you.
